Traxplorers is a  wonderfully visual blog written by Supriya Bhardwaj, a travel blogger from India. In her own words .. I have been traveling through various states of India and exploring new adventures coming in my way in past 2 years with my husband and a little adventurous girl child. We are now family travelers, trekkers, and adventurers. Since my childhood days, I am a wanderer at heart and like to explore new places, culture, and people. In my country, it is not easy for a woman to travel alone plus family restrictions because of safety purpose. Professionally, I am a researcher currently on a break. Why am I in Travel Blogging? Totally, I am a travel enthusiast. Did I saw many people in travel blogging so think why not me? This is the only and wonderful way to capture and save all our travel memories and make them immortal by sharing with the whole world around. I simply loved this idea. Maybe someday people could get inspiration from our travels. What else we need? This is how I jumped into this. We have explored many places in India and wish to explore internationally too in future.

Thinking about past, long before I met the love of my life and presently my dear husband (Aditya), I was studying religiously to get high scores so that I would do something with my career. As I always hated the idea of being a homemaker. I wanted to be a career-oriented woman. And of course, I did work hard to achieve that too. I did my graduation and post-graduation in Life Sciences. During this period I met my husband pursuing his research career. As I drifted towards him, soon we get married in May 2013 and I also started pursuing a research career. In between, we were blessed with a beautiful baby girl “Karen” in December 2014. Before my daughter was unborn and I was unknowingly carrying her, we went for trekking to the great ‘Triund Trek’ in Mcleodganj (H.P), India. That was the first trekking experience of my life and I am glad that we decided to do that. Our little girl became unborn trekker with us. This was the main turning point of our life and we never looked back. Even after the birth of our daughter, we were not able to stop ourselves from traveling. Breaking the stereotype of society that one could not travel much with a kid. We had many adventurous travelling experiences with our toddler ranging from road trips to mountains, trekking couple of Himalayan treks, explored the unexplored parts of Himachal Pradesh, doing adventurous sport like paragliding from world’s second highest point and Asia’s highest point in Bir-Billing, exploring sand dunes and culture of Rajasthan, salt desert (white desert) of Kutch (Gujarat) and the list is long. We are still exploring other new horizons.

So, we are now a beautiful family of three ‘traxplorers’ (Travellers & Explorers). Three like a shape of a triangle, world’s strongest shape. Inside us, there is a wanderer who needs to quench the thirst of wanderlust. We have itchy feet. We are always looking for a chance, whether it is for a day, a weekend or a week off to travel some new place.
